Collision naming and response wording

research

This was a research day: less about ceremony, more about tightening the shape of the thing until it behaved a little more like itself. 9 commits landed or were available locally. There was also a decent amount of local conversation around the work, but the useful part is the trail it leaves: questions asked, decisions narrowed, and a few assumptions made explicit. The center of gravity was flight, camera, combat, collision.

What moved

research moved through recover local flight dynamics and controls, recover camera and plane presentation, recover ordnance and sortie lifecycle, sync flight sim ledgers and notes, tighten lifecycle packet semantics, tighten collision response word, tighten collision naming, and tighten forward guns label.

What I learned

The useful thread was flight, camera, combat, collision, and damage. That is the kind of cluster I want the devlog to catch: not every intermediate step, just the shape of what the work was trying to pin down.

Source trail

The research lane stays research, and the implementation lane stays implementation. This post is a narrative summary of local work, not a publication of raw originals.
